Rob Dibden, Race Director & Coach
Rob Dibden is a life long Vancouver Island resident and an original member of Human Powered Racing. He is a retired police officer and a NCCP certified triathlon coach with years of experience coaching in our community. Rob has coached young triathletes from beginners to Junior Elites. Some of the athletes that Rob has coached have gone on to represent Canada at the Olympics and the World Triathlon Championships.
Rob was the Director for Youth Development for Triathlon BC from 2002 to 2007. As an athlete he has represented Canada at the Age Group World Triathlon Championships at the Standard and Long Distance and has completed several Ironman distance races.
Rob is an experienced event planner and is a driving force behind Human Powered Racing Events. He is the race director of XTERRA Victoria, the Triathlon of Compassion, the Victoria Youth Triathlon, SwimRun Victoria, and The HPR Youth Triathlon West Shore. Rob is committed to the development of the sport of Triathlon and Human Powered Racing.
