Congratulations to Human Powered Racing athletes Christopher Mavrikos as well as Michael and Jennifer Campbell on their great races at the Calgary 70.3 this past weekend.

Jenn won her age group and qualified for the the 2020 70.3 World Championship in New Zealand with another dominant performance in the women’s 60 – 64 age group while Michael once again ran himself into the top 5 with one of the days fastest runs in the men’s 55 – 59 division.

Christoper was taking on his first race of the season and had a very solid performance in the extremely strong men’s 40 – 44 age group, finishing 34th out of 68 competitors and proving that you you can balance a 70 hour work week with family and training.

Congratulations to Sooke Team Member Brian Gair as well who, despite a little extra distance on one of the runs, finished 2nd in the men’s open category of the SwimRun Victoria Short Course event.
