Vic Youth part of 2019 BC Super Series
The Victoria Youth Triathlon will be the second stop on the BC High Performance Super Series in 2019. In a recent announcement Triathlon BC named four races that will make up the BC Super Series. Along with the Victoria Youth Triathlon, the North Shore Triathlon, the Kelowna Apple Triathlon and the Vernon Kids Triathlon make up the BC Super Series in 2019.
The Victoria Youth Triathlon was first included in the BC Super Series in 2018. With it’s flat, looping bike and run courses Vic Youth is an excellent venue for the draft legal format of the BC Super Series. It is a great venue for spectators.
The 2018 race was exciting to watch as the best BC junior triathletes raced here in Victoria at the oldest youth triathlon in the province. It was fantastic inspiration for younger triathletes who participated in the age group race then watched as their older peers showcased the sport in the Super Series heats.
